We are planning a multi-day trip to Corvallis, Oregon in April to explore the cutting edge research at Oregon State University. We'll learn about timber research and wildfire recovery, sediment and ice cores, wave energy, and so much more. Trips to the creamery and brewery will tantalize the taste buds between tours and talks. We are also considering an optional Saturday extension trip to the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest. This would be an overnight (April 10) at forest headquarters near Blue River Reservoir, which is an additional two hours east of Corvallis.

Right now, we are judging interest as we put together the logistics for this trip and would like to know if you are interested in the OSU campus portion of the trip in Corvallis (one overnight) or if you would also like the additional option to the Andrews Experimental Forest (two nights).

We are still determining costs involved but will not include: Overnight accommodations (estimated ~$150/room in Corvallis; ~$50/room at HJ Andrews), Meals, and Transportation to and from Corvallis.

If you register, you are expressing interest in attending the field trip to Oregon State University. Please choose one of the two ticket types - OSU Campus or OSU Campus + HJ Andrews Experimental Forest. Note, there is no cost to register but please serious interest only.

More details will be sent to all registrants in the next few weeks as plans firm up.
